Office Policies
Please call our office at 607-379-6229 to schedule an appointment. Our phones are open from Monday through Friday 8-4 pm. If you need to cancel your appointment please call us at least 24 hours in advance as someone else may greatly appreciate being seen in your place. You will also receive a reminder of your appointment through the portal and will able to confirm or cancel your appointment through the portal system as well.
Medication Refills
It is our policy to see patients at least once yearly for ongoing prescriptions to be refilled. Depending on your condition and/or medication, it may be necessary for you to be seen more frequently than once a year to have an ongoing prescription refilled. If a phone refill is appropriate you may call us during normal business hours and can expect your prescription to be called in by 5 pm. We recommend you call your pharmacy prior to pickup to ensure you medication is ready.
Referrals
Your insurance company may require that you first have a referral from your primary physician in order to be seen by our practice. Please be sure that this referral and preapproval process is done PRIOR to your visit. If this is not done, we are required to have you sign a waiver that guarantees payment for services in the event the insurance company refuses coverage. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
