Insurance Plans

Cayuga Dermatology participates in the following insurance care plans:

Aetna
Excellus BlueCross BlueShield
Martin’s Point
MVP/Cigna
POMCO Select Plan through UMR (not all UMR plans)
Medicare*

Please call your insurance company or the office for specific participation within these plans.

* We are not accepting new Medicare patients at this time, including patients with managed Medicare plans offered by commercial insurance like Excellus, Aetna, or MVP.

Payment Policy

Please bring your current insurance card with you at the time of your visit. We will also ask for a picture ID in compliance with federal regulations.

We ask that co-payments are collected at the time of your visit. Please be aware of your co-pay requirements for your particular insurance before you come. We accept the following: cash, personal check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Pathology services are independent from those of our practice. You (or your insurance company) will be charged an entirely separate fee from the dermatopathologist. If you are concerned about these extra charges please discuss this with one of our staff.
